Green Srpska is a digital information and promotion platform created to make the production and economic potential of Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, easier to discover internationally. Why Green Srpska exists
Finding a reliable partner in an unfamiliar market can take time. Company information may be distributed across local-language websites, business directories, institutional publications and social channels. Green Srpska aims to make the first stage of that research simpler by organising relevant information around industries, products and verified business identities.
What we cover
Our editorial priorities include agriculture and rural production, food and beverages, forestry and wood processing, water-related activities and other manufacturing sectors. We also publish guidance on exports, international sourcing, business cooperation and access to institutional information.
The platform is intended for international buyers, distributors, procurement teams, investors and other organisations seeking an introduction to local capabilities. It is also a way for producers to present their businesses to audiences who may not otherwise encounter them online.
How information is prepared
Company data may originate from official business websites, public registers, institutional resources or information submitted by the businesses themselves. We aim to distinguish confirmed facts from unverified claims, maintain source records and correct outdated information when notified.
A Green Srpska listing does not constitute certification, commercial endorsement, legal due diligence or a guarantee of current production capacity. Buyers remain responsible for checking their prospective partner's identity, licences, standards, financial standing and agreed contractual obligations.
Support and independence
The project is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska (Trg Republike Srpske 1, Banja Luka). Green Srpska is still not a government authority, business registry or certification body. Producer profiles are prepared editorially, and a listing is neither an official endorsement nor a certificate. Other public institutions mentioned on the site are linked as sources of official information. They are not partners of the project unless stated.

Our goal is to make reputable local producers easier to discover, encourage direct business communication and provide context that supports informed decisions.
