Products

Meat: fresh beef, pork and poultry, cured and semi-cured sausages and ham, smoked products. Fish: rainbow trout, whole or gutted, fresh or frozen, and red trout fillets; carp from the lowland fishponds.

Export requirements

Exports of meat and fish need an approved establishment and veterinary health certificates for each destination. For the EU, Bosnia and Herzegovina is listed for certain products only, so check eligibility product by product before you negotiate. Meat processors in the exporters register of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina most often list CEFTA countries and Croatia; the trout producer lists Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Romania.

What to check with a supplier

A practical list for buyers. Green Srpska shows certificates on a profile only after seeing them.

  • Eligibility: whether the product and the plant are approved for your market.
  • Specification: cuts, trim, weights, packaging, frozen or chilled.
  • Certificates: HACCP, IFS/BRCGS, halal where needed.
  • Traceability: origin of animals or fish and batch tracking.
